This water transmission pipeline project was developed to improve regional water supply reliability and establish a stable emergency backup water supply system.
The project constructed a 7.434 km large-diameter water transmission pipeline system, including DN900 ductile iron pipes (3,330 m) and DN900 steel pipes (3,784 m), together with supporting facilities such as valve wells, air release valves, drainage valves, maintenance valves, expansion joints, and pressure reducing valves.
Located in Shaoguan, the project demonstrates professional pipeline engineering capabilities, including large-diameter pipeline installation, hydraulic pressure testing, and infrastructure construction management. Through standardized construction and quality control procedures, the project established a reliable water transmission system to enhance long-term water supply security.

The pipeline route passed through rural roads, farmland, riverbanks, and provincial roads, involving multiple villages and different construction environments. Coordination of land use, traffic management, and construction restoration required effective project organization.
The project required the installation of DN900 large-diameter pipelines under complex geological conditions, including weathered granite and soft clay areas. Special construction measures were required for river crossings, road crossings, and pipeline support structures.
Due to the long transmission distance and varying terrain conditions, strict quality control was required. Segmented hydraulic pressure testing, pipeline inspection, and acceptance procedures were implemented to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The project was located near the Sixi River drinking water source protection area and required strict environmental management during construction, including wastewater control, dust prevention, soil restoration, and ecological protection.
The project successfully completed the construction of 7.434 km DN900 water transmission pipelines, including ductile iron pipes and steel pipes, creating a reliable emergency water transmission route.
The completed pipeline connected the Sixi River Reservoir backup water source with the existing water supply system, establishing a dual water source supply structure for Renhua County and Dongtang Town.
The entire pipeline system completed segmented hydraulic pressure testing with 1.0 MPa test pressure and 24-hour pressure holding, achieving successful acceptance and ensuring long-term operational reliability.
The project established a stable emergency water transmission channel with a capacity of 20,000 m³/day, improving drinking water security and supporting sustainable regional development.
Our water purification solutions are deployed across a wide range of environments, delivering clean and safe drinking water wherever it is needed most.
The project constructed a 7.434 km water transmission pipeline system, including 3,330 m DN900 ductile iron pipes and 3,784 m DN900 welded steel pipes. Flexible sealing ductile iron pipes were used for general sections, while anti-corrosion welded steel pipes were applied for road crossing and river crossing sections requiring higher structural strength.
The project installed supporting pipeline facilities, including air release valves, DN250–300 drainage gate valves, sectional maintenance gate valves, adjustable pressure reducing valves, and stainless steel expansion joints to ensure safe operation, pressure control, and efficient maintenance.
The pipeline system completed segmented hydraulic pressure testing with a 1.0 MPa test pressure and 24-hour pressure holding requirement. Testing equipment included electric pressure testing pumps, 0–1.6 MPa standard pressure gauges, pressure buffer devices, reinforced steel blind plates, and high-pressure flanges to verify pipeline safety and reliability.
The project utilized major construction and inspection equipment, including excavators, loaders, rollers, concrete mixers, trench support equipment, level instruments, compaction testing equipment, water quality testing equipment, and soil & water conservation monitoring equipment to support the construction of the 7.434 km pipeline system and ensure engineering quality.
